Hawkwing
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Hawkwing focus to recreate the feeling of late 80's / early 90's arcade and consoles shmup/shoot'em up, with lot of action, colorful 2d low resolution sprites, medium sampling quality sounds and a catchy soundtrack emulated on those old chips.
I release it as a free demo, and depending on the hype, i'll consider making a full game or not.
The game is built in C# with the Monogame framework.
You can follow Los Geekos Studio on Twitter, Facebook, IndieDB or TIG Source for updates on the project.
The project is currently on hold, and won't get any further for the moment.
Update 02/2017: Demo2 (1.1) released: lot of fixes, some game balanced, directinput to handle every controllers, configurable CRT/scanline effect, etc.
Update 04/2017: Demo 1.2 released: updated to Monogame 3.6 and released Mac OSX & Linux versions.

is this game on hold at the moment ? Because what I've seen of the first level so far it has so much potential and the retro style graphics are amazing and everything else, I would love to see this game to full completion that would be Awesome and offcourse I will purchase it immediately :) Amazing work so far guys keep it up :)
Is there a way to play with just 1 ship? I feel like I'm going to pull a brain muscle trying to control both ships at one time :P
Hi, you're the second one to report this "controller controls 2 ships" bug.
Could you give me more infos about your OS and Gamepad please?
Thanks for your comment. ;)
It was an Xbox One controller and Windows 10.
